I began my career as a full stack web developer, and I now focus primarily on backend development, including software architecture, AWS, DevOps tasks, and mentoring developers.
I am based in Northern Ireland and have also lived in Letterkenny, Ireland, as well as Burlington and Concord, Massachusetts. I hold citizenship in Ireland, the United Kingdom, and Australia, and I also have access to an E3 visa that allows me to work in the United States.
For most of my career I worked for Operix, a company based in Boston, Massachusetts, that provides a cloud based field operations and field service management platform designed for commercial contractors.
Over the years, I’ve worked on everything from APIs to UI components to deployment pipelines, and I wanted a structure that reflects both the breadth and depth of my skill set. Separating my work in this way makes it easier to highlight the specific strengths I’ve developed in each area.
